BKFC FEATHERWEIGHT CHAMPION KAI STEWART SET TO JOIN THE BRANDON MASON SHOW FOR FULL INTERVIEW

MIAMI — Undefeated BKFC Featherweight World Champion Kai “King” Stewart is set to join Brandon Mason for a full interview on The Brandon Mason Show, bringing the champion’s perspective into one of bare-knuckle fighting’s most important current debates.

The interview is upcoming and confirmed. No appearance date has been announced, and The Brandon Mason Show will share additional appearance details and release information when available.

Stewart’s official BKFC profile lists him at 10-0. BKFC’s current official rankings, checked on October 6, 2026, list Stewart as Featherweight World Champion, Edgard Plazaola as BKFC’s No. 1-ranked featherweight contender and Bryan Duran as the No. 2 contender. Plazaola’s official BKFC profile lists him at 6-0, while Duran’s profile lists nine wins and one loss.

The central question for the upcoming conversation is clear: Who should Kai Stewart face next — Edgard Plazaola or Bryan “Cash Cow” Duran?

Plazaola holds the official No. 1 contender position and remains unbeaten. Duran is the No. 2-ranked contender and has publicly pushed for another opportunity against Stewart following BKFC 93. Brandon Mason has recently interviewed both contenders, putting The Brandon Mason Show in a unique editorial position to now hear directly from the champion.

No Stewart–Plazaola fight, Stewart–Duran rematch or Plazaola–Duran fight is being announced by this article. BKFC has not selected a next challenger through this announcement.

THE QUESTION THE DIVISION WANTS ANSWERED

Brandon Mason plans to press Stewart on the questions driving the featherweight title picture:

• Does Edgard Plazaola’s position as BKFC’s No. 1-ranked featherweight contender make him the rightful next challenger?
• Does Bryan “Cash Cow” Duran’s public push for a championship opportunity and history with Stewart make that rivalry the more compelling matchup?
• Should rankings or rivalry determine the next challenger?
• Does Stewart see one matchup as more dangerous?
• What would Duran need to do differently in another meeting with Stewart?
• What does Stewart think of Plazaola’s unbeaten 6-0 run?
• Has either contender truly earned the next title shot?
• Where should the next major featherweight title fight take place?
• Should Miami be in the conversation for a marquee title fight, or does Stewart have another city or venue in mind?
• What are Stewart’s long-term goals as champion, and what does he believe remains for him to prove?

These are questions and topics for the upcoming interview. They are not answers, quotes or positions attributed to Stewart before he addresses them himself. No fight date, contract, negotiation or venue is being claimed.

FROM THE CHALLENGERS TO THE CHAMPION

Edgard Plazaola has already joined The Brandon Mason Show for an extended Brickell conversation about his unbeaten rise and championship ambitions. Bryan “Cash Cow” Duran also sat down with Brandon Mason and discussed the division’s title picture and his pursuit of another opportunity against Stewart.

Now the reigning champion will have the opportunity to respond in his own words. The Brandon Mason Show is bringing challenger perspectives followed by the champion’s perspective into the same wider sports conversation without choosing sides or claiming a role in matchmaking.

Brandon Mason, host of The Brandon Mason Show and known as “The Plug,” will conduct the interview from the show’s Brickell, Miami studio unless the appearance format is later updated.

Stewart’s upcoming conversation will be a full interview rather than a promotional appearance. The show plans to examine the competitive case for both contenders, the champion’s assessment of the division and the larger questions surrounding his next chapter.

Additional appearance details and release information will be announced by The Brandon Mason Show when available. Until then, Kai Stewart remains a confirmed upcoming guest with the date to be announced.
